Frankenweenie
Young Victor brings his dead doggy Sparky back to life a la Dr. Frankenstein in Tim Burton's Frankenweenie, due out in time for Halloween 2012. The feature is based on Burton's 1984 short film of the same name. Featuring the voices of Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Short, and Martin Landau, Frankenweenie looks like a charming and funny little movie. Burton is taking a risk releasing the film in black and white, but the story and the classic theme of a boy and his dog should carry it through
